AWESOME!!!!! If you want good food that worth your money.. you should definitely go here. Like everything about it. The service from the staff is excellent. They are well mannered, kind and hospitable. Love the ambience. 10/10 Would highly recommend

We tried the hotdog and burger and it was amazing. We went at 1PM for lunch and the place was just opening. I don't know why our waiter asked us to sit upstairs it was hot. We didn't even know there was seating on the ground floor, much nicer to where we sat. The place might be more apt for evening-dinner hangouts than noon lunches.

The place isn't fancy, but it's cozy and relaxed, perfect for grabbing a bite with pals. Flavors that Pop: Their food? It's tasty stuff! They've got your local favorites and a few surprises. I dug into some spicy dishes that hit the spot. Portions were decent, too! Service with a Smile: Waiter is Super friendly and knows their items with depth. They were on the ball with orders, and the food came out quicker than expected. Always a plus when you're starving! Ambience Matters: It's not posh, but it's clean and comfy. The seating was cool, and it felt like a spot where locals come to unwind. Plus, it's easy to find, which is a win. One Tiny Bit: Only thing, more veggie options would be awesome. They had some, but a bit more variety would make it even better for when we need a little bit of extra vitamins and nutrients. In a Nutshell: Open Up Cafe in Jaiaw might be better than the one in Mawroh. It's a solid choice for grabbing a bite in Shillong. Good food, laid-back vibes, and friendly service. Always a thrill going to Open up cafe. Exceptional food that never disappoints. My number one recommendation would be to try the double decked hotdog. Simply exquisite. For that matter all the fast food items are a treat for the taste bud. The continental menu is also spectacular but only if you have time to spare as it can take some time to prepare.

Open cafe is hands down one of the best cafes I've visited in Shillong from delightful burgers to refreshing mocktails. I personally like the ambince and the effort the manager/owners have put into the place very courteous and quite neat and tidy cafe..
